COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio Dominican men's soccer team fell 2-0 to Northwood in a hard-fought GMAC contest. Despite the statistics being relatively even, with both teams recording 10 total shots and 5 on target, the Panthers were unable to find the back of the net. ODU had two more corner kicks than the Timberwolves, but couldn't capitalize on those opportunities.
The physical battle saw over 25 fouls between the teams, and although the Panthers had a few breakaway chances, they couldn't convert. Northwood took an early lead with a goal just five minutes into the match, putting ODU on the back foot. The Timberwolves added a second goal in the 59th minute, sealing the game for the visitors.
