BIG RAPIDS, Michigan - The Ohio Dominican Panthers men's golf team wrapped up play in the Wolverine State on Tuesday (Sept. 19) with the final round of the B&R Investments Bulldog Classic. With a season-low final round of 293, Ohio Dominican finished in a seventh-place tie out of 16 teams with a 54-hole total of 898.
Junior
Tyler Andersen (Columbiana, Ohio) shot 73 on Tuesday to be the tied as the highest Panther in the final standings. Andersen totaled 223, 10-over par, in an 18th place tie with his teammate
Yadhu Urs (Castries, Saint Lucia).
Urs ended up bookending his tournament with rounds of 75.
Sophomore
Bryce Cobb (Anna, Ohio) had the best round of the ODU lineup on Tuesday as he shot 70 , a career-low round. He gained 25 spots in the final round, compiling a 54-hole total of 226 (+13).
Senior
Kai Squires (Dunstable, United Kingdom) was fourth in the Panther grouping with a 78 final round, totaling 231 (+18)
Sophomore
Nash Linder (Grove City, Ohio) shot his best round of the event with a 75 as he was +21 for 54 holes at 234.
Graduate student
Carter Hahn (Wooster, Ohio) shot 85 to give him a 245 for the tournament, 32-over par across his outing.
His classmate
Parker Pickell (Bloomfield Village, Michigan) also shot 85 in the final round for a 255 total.
The B team for the Panthers will compete next Sunday (Sept. 24) and Monday (Sept. 25) at the Capital Fall Invite in Canal Winchester. The rest of the Panthers will return to action on Oct. 2 and 3 at the Kyle Ryman Memorial in Tiffin.
