CANTON, Ohio - The Ohio Dominican Panthers men's golf team finished the first event of the Fall on Tuesday (Sept. 12) at the Malone-Glenmoor Fall Invitational.
Golfers battled rain showers in the second half of the day but Ohio Dominican shot 311 as a team. After 54 holes, the Panthers totaled 909 and finished eighth of 15 teams.
Yadhu Urs (Castries, Saint Lucia) tied his lowest round of the tournament as he shot an even-par 72 on Tuesday. He was tied for fourth place with an one-over 217 for the duration of the tournament.
Senior
Kai Squires (Dunstable, United Kingdom) finished tied for 26th as he tallied an 80 in the final round. Squires was +11 overall, shooting 227.
After rounds of 77 and 75,
Tyler Andersen (Columbiana, Ohio) ended the day with a 79 as he scored 231 for the 54-holes.
Nash Linder (Grove City, Ohio) had the fourth best score in the event. In the overcast conditions of Tuesday's round, Linder recorded an 80 and had 234 for the week.
Carter Hahn (Wooster, Ohio) scored 78 in the final two rounds and compiled a 241 (+25).
Jackson Parnell (Maineville, Ohio) was two strokes behind Hahn with a 243 (+27) after Tuesday's 81.
The Panthers will head to Michigan for the Ferris State Bulldog Fall Classic. The event will take place on Monday (Sept. 18) and Tuesday (Sept. 19) at Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids, Michigan.
