CANTON, Ohio - Following the offseason, the Ohio Dominican Panthers men''s golf team returned to action on Monday (Sept. 11) for the first day of the Malone-Glenmoor Fall Invitational. 

36 holes were on the docket for the Panthers as they took to the course at Glenmoor Country Club. After shooting a 302 in the opening round, Ohio Dominican shaved six strokes with a 296 in the second round. Through 36 holes, ODU is tied for fourth place with Ashland with a 598 total. 

Yadhu Urs (Castries, Saint Lucia) led the Panthers with a two-round total of 145 (+1), tied for sixth place. He was one-over 73 in his first round before going even-par 72 in the second half of the day. 

Senior Kai Squires (Dunstable, United Kingdom) was the second-highest Panther on day one, shooting 147 (+3). With round scores of two-over 74 and one-over 73, Squires is tied for tenth place. 

Tyler Andersen (Columbiana, Ohio), in his first ODU event, tallied rounds of 77 and 75, respectively as he sits in 29th place tie with 152 (+8). 

Nash Linder (Grove City, Ohio) started the day with a round of 78 before lowering it to 76 in the second round. He shot 154, nine strokes behind his teammate Urs.

Jackson Parnell (Maineville, Ohio) and Carter Hahn (Wooster, Ohio) were separated by one stroke in their total scores on Monday. Parnell compiled a 162 (+18) with rounds of 83 and 79 while Hahn, as an individual, went from 85 to 78 in his pair of rounds for 163 (+19).  

Round three will begin at 8:30 AM on Tuesday (Sept. 12) from Glenmoor Country Club.
