TIFFIN, Ohio – On Saturday afternoon, the Ohio Dominican women's basketball team returned to the court for another Great Midwest Athletic Conference matchup. The Panthers took on the Dragons of Tiffin University, falling on the road, 64-57, to move to 2-5 overall and 0-3 in the conference.

- For the seventh time this season, senior Gabby Stare (Newark, Ohio) snagged double figure points. Stare went 5-7 from the field to lead the team with 13 points on the afternoon. The senior added two rebounds and a steal.
- Joining her in double-digits was Jenna Shackleford (Newark, Ohio) with 12 points. The freshman went 6-7 from the charity stripe and led the team, along with Brynn Mullet (Berlin, Ohio), with seven rebounds.
- Off the bench, Camryn Pickerill (Seaman, Ohio), recorded seven steals. La'Sonja Hill (Cincinnati, Ohio) followed with three steals and collected nine points. Jazmyn Wheeler (Winfield, W. Va.) added five rebounds to the mix as well as seven first half points.
How It Happened
- Stare got things started by snagging the first bucket of the game. The Dragons turned the page by jumping to a five-point lead midway through the quarter. A layup by wheeler tied the match at 16-all with two minutes to go, but Tiffin's offense prevailed, taking a 20-16 lead at the end of the first.
- The Black and Gold began the second period with a 7-2 run tip the scales their way. The two traded points throughout the entire period, with TU having the edge heading into the intermission, 29-28.
- Over the first four minutes out of halftime, Tiffin outscored Ohio Dominican nine to two to take a 38-30 lead. The Dragons pushed their lead to as many as 10 at one point, but the Panthers rallied to cut it to eight heading into the final quarter.
- After being down 12 in the first minute and a half, ODU went on a 6-0 run, cutting their deficit in half, making it 55-49. The Green and Gold never let up and won the contest 64-57.
