HILLSDALE, Mich. – To end their weekend, the Ohio Dominican women's basketball team traveled to Hillsdale College on Saturday afternoon. The Chargers ran past the Panthers, 88-52.

- Off the bench, freshman Jazmyn Wheeler (Winfield, W. Va.) led the way for ODU with 15 points. The forward went 6-9 from the field and 2-4 from behind the arc. Joining her in double figures was Gabby Stare (Newark, Ohio) with 14.
- Grabbing a team high of five rebounds was Nelia Guice (Westerville, Ohio). Guice followed with six points, going 4-6 from the charity stripe. Fellow freshman, La'Sonja Hill (Cincinnati, Ohio) snagged four steals and five points in today's contest.
How It Happened
- Over the first two and a half minutes, the Chargers ran out to a 10-2 lead over the Panthers. The Black and Gold entered the second period down 15 points, 23-8.
- To open the second quarter, HC scored 10 unanswered points to extend their lead to 34-8. Brynn Mullet (Berlin, Ohio) and Wheeler netted back-to-back threes to cut their deficit to 22. Hillsdale made a late push to go into the half with a 47-23 lead.
- Guice and Stare combined for eight of ODU's 10 points in the third quarter. HC doubled their lead to 66-33 entering the final 10 minutes.
- Hillsdale went on a 12-0 run over the first five minutes of the last period. Consecutive buckets from Wheeler broke up their run. Wheeler ended with 10 points in the period, as the Panthers fell 88-52.
