COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio Dominican women's soccer team looks ahead to two Great Midwest Athletic Conference matchups this week. The Black and Gold split the week hosting the Timberwolves of Northwood on Thursday for their second meeting this fall and traveling to Ursuline College on Saturday.
About Ohio Dominican
The Panthers are 3-4-4 overall and 2-3-2 in conference play after picking up a 1-0 win on the road at Malone and a 1-1 draw against Tiffin on Homecoming Saturday. ODU sits in seventh in the standings with eight points.
Sophomore
Meghan Coakley (Sylvania, Ohio) connected with
Devin Schoenberger (Redondo Beach, Cali.) on Tuesday to become the ninth member of the team to score this fall. Schoenberger snagged her second assist of her junior season that evening. On Saturday, senior
Alex Garver (Springboro, Ohio) netted her second goal of the year along with
Ryanne Buck (Reynoldsburg, Ohio) adding her second assist.
Between the posts,
Kaitlin Grady (Twinsburg, Ohio) grabbed five saves, bring her season total to 20. Fellow keeper
Jadelyn McNerney (Springboro, Ohio) collected five saves as well, marking 21 saves on the season. McNerney posts the fourth best goals against average in the conference with a .903.
About Northwood
The Timberwolves have an overall record of 8-2-2 and a conference record of 7-0-1, sitting at first in the standings with 22 points. Northwood most recently defeated Thomas More, 2-0, and Ursuline, 3-0.
Leading the way for the Timbies is Juliana Paoletti with five goals, ranking tied for fourth in the conference. Paoletti adds two assists to her season. Following Paoletti is Mia Thompson with four goals and an assist. Katie Foster and Carly Boyd netted goals against the Panthers back on September 30
th.
Freshman keeper Lindsay Jacob has the third most saves in the G-MAC with 53. Jacob has the fifth best GAA at .933. She averages 4.42 saves per game and had six saves against the Black and Gold.
The Panthers continue to have the edge over the Timberwolves by holding a 9-4-1 overall mark against them. Northwood has now won the last four meetings.
About Ursuline
The Arrows are currently 1-7-2 overall with a 1-5-1 mark in the conference, placing them 12
th in the standings. Ursuline most recently drew with tiffin, 1-1, and lost to Northwood, 3-0.
Leading the way for UC is Maiara Windszuz with three goals. Following her is Amelia Fernandez and Julia Greskamp with two goals apiece.
Arrows keeper, Morgan Demagall, has the second most saves in the conference with 55. Demagall averages 5.50 saves per game and posts a 1.80 GAA.
Ohio Dominican is 5-1-1 against Ursuline, dating back to 2017. The Panthers have won four of the last five meetings with a 1-1 draw in 2022. The Arrows host the Cavaliers of Walsh on Wednesday before welcoming the Black and Gold

Kickoff is set for 7:30 PM at Panther Stadium on Thursday evening against Northwood and 1:00 PM at Ursuline Soccer Field in Pepper Pike.
