COLUMBUS, Ohio – This week, the Ohio Dominican women's soccer team wraps up their regular season with a trip to #2 Ashland University on Tuesday evening.

The Black and Gold are 5-6-6 on the season and 4-5-4 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, sitting in eighth in the standings. Last week, The Panthers drew twice to clinch a spot in the G-MAC tournament.

Roisin Kennedy (Delaware, Ohio) jumps into the lead with three goals in her freshman campaign. Following her is
Devin Schoenberger (Redondo Beach, Calif.) with two goals and three assists.
Ryanne Buck (Reynoldsburg, Ohio) and
Alex Garver (Springboro, Ohio) join Schoenberger with two goals. Buck adds two assists to Garver's one.
Splitting time in the net this season are seniors
Jadelyn McNerney (Springboro, Ohio) and
Kaitlin Grady (Twinsburg, Ohio). Both have appeared in all 17 matches with McNerney starting in 12 and Grady starting in six. McNerney has snagged 28 saves on the season and a 0.94 GAA. Grady has grabbed 27 saves and a 1.18 GAA this fall.
About Ashland
The Eagles are 14-0-3 overall and 10-0-3 in the G-MAC, sitting second in the Nation and second in the conference. Most recently, AU defeated Ursuline, 2-0, and drew with Findlay, 0-0.
Leading the way is Dani Hicks with nine goals and four assists. Following her is Merrik Mihalek with six goals and four assists. 11 other players have scored for the Purple and Gold this fall.
In goal, Mackenzie Simon has appeared and started in 14 contests. The Senior has collected 38 saves, allowing only three goals for a 0.22 GAA this year. Simon has a .927 save percentage and a 13-0-1 record with nine solo shutouts.
Since 2010, the Black and Gold are 7-6-3 against the Eagles. Ashland has won five on the last six matchups with a 1-1 draw in 2021.
