PEPPER PIKE, Ohio – The Ohio Dominican women's soccer team traveled to Ursuline College on Saturday afternoon to battle the Arrows for the first time this season. The Panthers and Arrows remained scoreless until UC scored late to win, 1-0.
Ursuline started the game quick, taking their first short in the 7
th minute, resulting in a save for
Kaitlin Grady (Twinsburg, Ohio). A few minutes later
Ryanne Buck (Reynoldsburg, Ohio) and
Kate Kodger (Hilliard, Ohio) added shots, giving the UC keeper two saves.
ODU outshot the Arrows 7-4 in the first half, but neither team could connect with the back of the net, leaving the game scoreless at the intermission.
Ohio Dominican collected three shots in the second half before Ursuline scored in the 78
th minute.
Devin Schoenberger (Redondo Beach, Cali.) added two shots late, trying to pick up the draw, but she missed the mark. ODU fell to UC, 1-0.
