COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Black and Gold look to host Cedarville on Thursday evening and traveling to Hillsdale Saturday afternoon for a second match-up against both teams this season.
The Ohio Dominican women's basketball team sits at 5-9 overall and 2-5 in the Great Midwest. Back on Dec. 10, the Panthers defeated the Chargers 74-61 in Alumni hall for their first conference win of the season. A game later (12/15), ODU traveled to the Callan Athletic Center and knocked off the Yellow Jackets, 81-78, snapping a 0-17 road game losing streak.
Opening Tip-Off
- Coming off the best game of her career, junior Camryn Pickerill (Seaman, Ohio) netted 21 points, going 6-13 from downtown against the Tigers. The guard accounted for eight point on Thursday, adding two rebounds and a steal.
 
- Gabby Stare (Newark, Ohio) continues to put up the numbers after collecting 18 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals against the Dragons. The junior has now recorded double-figure points in 12 of the 13 games she has appeared in.
 
- Freshman Macy Chapman (Hilliard, Ohio) had back-to-back double-digit performances with 16 points on Thursday and a career-high 18 points coming on Saturday. Chapman grabbed a combined 14 rebounds and five assists.
 
- On Thursday, forward Logan Pride (Twinsburg, Ohio) came one point shy of a personal best, notching 11 points on 5-10 shooting. The freshman continues to be a threat on the glass, snagging eight rebounds in each contest.
 
- Off the bench on Saturday, guard Trinity Ramos (Reynoldsburg, Ohio) went 3-8 from the field, contributing 10 points, collecting five rebounds, and dishing out two assists.
 
About Cedarville
- Since facing the Panthers, the Yellow Jackets have gone 2-2, putting them at 4-9 overall and matching ODU at 2-5 in the Great Midwest.
 
- In the last meeting, Paige Garr dropped 23 points with Lydia Sweeney accounting for 14 points. The two remain averaging double-figures with Sweeney averaging 16.0 and Garr averaging 13.9 ppg.
 
- Cedarville remains winless on the road with a 0-8 record heading to Alumni Hall.
 
About Hillsdale
- The Chargers have gone 6-1 since the meeting with the Black and Gold, bringing them to 10-7 overall and 3-4 in conference play.
 
- Grace Touchette had 17 points against the Panthers, going 5-15 from the field and 6-7 from the charity stripe.
 
- HC leads the conference in blocks per game (2.9) and defensive rebounds per game (28.0), with Sydney Mills and Caitlin Splain being at the head of a number of other categories.
 
- Hillsdale is coming off of their first loss at home this season to Malone before hosting Ursuline on Thursday and then Ohio Dominican on Saturday.
 
Tip-off is set for 5:30 pm on Thursday evening from Alumni Hall and 1:00 pm Saturday afternoon from Dawn Tibbetts Potter Arena.
