Box Score PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The Ohio Dominican women's soccer team grabs their first win of the season as they top Lake Erie in their conference opener on Thursday evening.
The Panthers struck first as Kailyn Ciboroswki (Oregon, Ohio) connected with Callan Myers (Hillsboro, Ohio) to collect her first career goal and take the lead for the Black and Gold in the 3rd minute, 1-0.
Morgan Kirk (Findlay, Ohio) wanted in on the action as she extended ODU's lead 2-0 with a solo goal in the 24th minute.
As the half wound down, the Storm responded as Rahel Lang combined with Skyler Crane in the 41st minute to cut their deficit in half, 2-1.
Lake Erie tried to rally in the second half firing off four shots forcing goalkeeper Jadelyn McNerney (Springboro, Ohio) to collect four of her five saves. The match was left with the Panthers on top 2-1 collecting their first win of the 2022 season.
