Box Score COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio Dominican women's soccer team hosted Ashland on Saturday night. The Eagles defeated the Panthers 1-0.
Ashland fired off three shots before the 19th minute of the match. In the 25th and 28th minutes, junior keeper Jadelyn McNerney (Springboro, Ohio) collected two saves.
McNerney registered another save in the 41st minute.
Coming out of the break, Callan Myers (Hillsboro, Ohio) tried to put the Panthers on the board but missed far right. The Eagles opened the scoring in the 53rd minute when Rylie Howman connected with Maddy Grabowski.
In the 63rd minute, Kailyn Ciborowski (Oregon, Ohio) forced Ashland's keeper to collect her first save.
ODU had no response for the Eagles and lost the match 1-0.
