Box Score PEPPER PIKE, Ohio – The Ohio Dominican women's basketball team fell short on the opening weekend of conference play, falling to Ursuline College on Saturday afternoon 65-54 making them 0-2 in the G-MAC.

- Freshman Macy Chapman (Hilliard, Ohio) led the way for the Black and Gold with 13 points on 4-13 shooting.
- Fellow freshman Logan Pride (Twinsburg, Ohio) snagged her first career double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds against the Arrows.
- Teammates Madelyn Fearon (Greenville, Ohio) and Gabby Stare (Newark, Ohio) added nine points each. Fearon grabbed five rebounds and two assists.
How It Happened
- Pride opened the game with the first bucket, giving ODU the 2-0 lead early. The Arrows and the Panthers went bucket for bucket with UC ending the quarter with a big three from Evans to take the lead 10-8.
- Ursuline began the second quarter with an 8-0 run, extending their lead 18-8. Fearon responded with back-to-back threes, cutting the Ohio Dominican deficit to four. ODU trailed at the break 27-20, after a 5-2 run to finish the second period.
- The Black and Gold were outscored 18-8 in the third quarter, entering the final ten minutes down 45-28.
- The Panthers went on an 11-2 point swing with 3:40 remaining in the last quarter, trailing 56-45. A jump shot from Pride brought the Black and Gold within nine with less than two minutes left to play.
- The Arrows connected at the charity stripe to seal the game with Ohio Dominican behind, 65-54.
