COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio Dominican women's basketball team concludes the 2022 year with a final non-conference contest against the Greyhounds of Indianapolis.
The Black and Gold are 4-7 overall and 2-4 in Great Midwest play after an 81-78 win at Cedarville, snapping a 17-road game losing streak. The Panthers fell to Lake Erie the following Saturday 87-69.
Opening Tip-Off
- Freshman Trinity Ramos (Reynoldsburg, Ohio) matched her career-high of 17 points in the first half of action against the Yellow Jackets. Ramos went on to finish with 22, leading the team.
 
- Gabby Stare (Newark, Ohio) combined for 40 points over the weekend, leaving her 11 points away from 1,000 career points in her junior season.
 
- Off the bench on Saturday, Sarah Ochs (Beavercreek, Ohio) notched a career-high of 14 points on 5-6 shooting from the field and 2-2 from behind the arc.
 
- On Thursday evening, fellow guard Madelyn Fearon (Greenville, Ohio) tallied her own career-high of 13 points. Fearon also led with eight rebounds.
 
- Macy Chapman (Hilliard, Ohio) was the fourth Panther to record double-digit points against Lake Erie with 14.
 
About Indianapolis
- UIndy has a 6-5 overall record and a 3-2 mark in the Great Lakes Valley Conference under new head coach Marc Mitchell.
 
- The Greyhounds are 2-2 against Great Midwest institutions with losses to Malone and Ashland and wins over Hillsdale and Northwood.
 
- Two players average double-figures through their 11 games: Sadie Hill (15.5) and Elana Wells (10.0).
