Box Score OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Ohio Dominican women's soccer team grabs another conference win at Ky. Wesleyan scoring a season-high four goals in the match. The Panthers outscored KWC 4-1.
The Black and Gold opened the scoring in the 4th minute when Nyah Daniels (Norwalk, Ohio) laced a cross to senior Callan Myers (Hillsboro, Ohio) who connected with the back of the net.
In the 12th minute, Myers collected her second goal of the match off a pass from Morgan Kirk (Findlay, Ohio) to extend the Panther lead 2-0. Six minutes later, Daniels grew the lead to 3-0 after a solo goal in the 18th minute.
KWC tried to retaliate by firing off a shot in the 19th minute. Goalkeeper Jadelyn McNerney (Springboro, Ohio) was there to grab her first save. ODU added another goal in the 30th minute after Ryanne Buck (Reynoldsburg, Ohio) combined with Makenna Greer (Pickerington, Ohio) making it 4-0.
McNerney tallied her third save in the 32nd minute off a shot from Olivia Schultz. Ohio Dominican closed out the half having their best performance in the first half since their 7-0 win over Findlay in 2017 where they scored five goals in the first half.
To open the second half, the KWC offense pressured the ODU backline, registering a shot in the 50th minute. Keeper McNerney notched another save.
The Purple Panthers kept up the pressure and got on the board in the 57th minute after Natalie Hinchcliffe assisted Chloe Hinchcliffe, bringing the score to 4-1.
Daniels and Greer each collected shots in the 67th minute, forcing KWC keeper Reegan Garrity to work between the posts. Four different panthers registered shots late missing the mark, leaving the match 4-1 with the Black and Gold on top.
