GAME NOTES (PDF)
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio Dominican women's basketball season continues as the Black and Gold welcome Hillsdale College to campus on Monday evening. ODU comes into the new week in good form after collecting wins against Ursuline College and Ohio Valley University.
OPENING TIP
Freshman Gabby Stare (Newark, Ohio) continued to impress inside of Alumni Hall. She tallied 24 points against Ursuline and followed up by scoring an impressive 25 points on Saturday afternoon. Stare received assistance from teammate Angela Troyer (Sugarcreek, Ohio) who scored 19 and 25 points respectively. Junior guard Kennedy Schlabach (Millerberg, Ohio) also had a great weekend as she captured her third career double-double against Ursuline and put on an impressive passing display to cap-off the first two games of the homestand.
SCOUTING HILLSDALE
The Chargers come to Sunbury Road in search of their first victory in seven games. It has not been a great start for head coach Charlie Averkamp but it's a must-win situation for Hillsdale if they want to play postseason basketball.
Guard Grace Touchette continues to be a bright spot for Hillsdale as she leads the team in scoring averaging around 14.3 points-per-game. Sydney Mills just slightly trails her teammate in scoring, averaging around 13.8 points-per-game.
The Panthers go for the season sweep of Hillsdale on Monday evening, with tip-off scheduled for 7:30 p.m. from inside Alumni Hall.
