GAME NOTES (PDF)
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Looking to make its final push toward the Great Midwest Athletic Conference tournament, the Ohio Dominican women's basketball team returns home for five games in-a-row that will be played inside the friendly confines of Alumni Hall.
The Panthers welcome Ursuline College to Sunbury Road on Thursday evening, with tip-off scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
ODU concludes the first two games of its homestand by welcoming Ohio Valley University to campus on Saturday afternoon for a matinee game, beginning at 1 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
Junior guard Kennedy Schlabach (Millersburg, Ohio) broke a long-standing school record when the Panthers tussled with Kentucky Wesleyan last Saturday. Schlabach's 14 assists during that contest broke a school record that was initially set in 1987. The previous record of 13 assists was again tied in 2006, with the junior guard claiming her spot in the record books last Saturday afternoon.
SCOUTING URSULINE
Coming into Thursday's conference clash, the Arrows sit in the eighth position and are on the bubble of making the G-MAC postseason conference tournament. Senior Morgan Mattimore leads the Arrows in scoring, averaging 12.4 PPG. Junior Rebekah Green is just behind her in second place averaging 11.9 PPG. Freshman Madison Cloonan continues to lead the team in rebounds, averaging 8.5 RPG.
SCOUTING OHIO VALLEY
It hasn't been an ideal start to the campaign for the Fighting Scots as they have yet to claim a victory this season. ODU looks to claim a season sweep of their conference foes from West Virginia. The last time out the Black and Gold won comfortably, claiming a 46-point advantage.
