Box Score COLUMBUS, Ohio – On a crisp fall evening, the Ohio Dominican women's soccer team could not overcome an early 1-0 deficit, falling to the visiting Dragons of Tiffin on Panther Field.
The Panthers are now 4-3-2 (1-2 GLIAC) while the Dragons improved to 1-5 (1-1).
The Dragons jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the 34th minute after Giulianne Domingues connected from Hope Bowman.
Tiffin managed to outlast the Panthers throughout the second half as the Panthers could not find the net, despite several opportunities.
The Panthers managed to outshoot the Dragons 28-7, including 14 shots on goal.
Junior keeper Laura Clark (Lapeer, Mich.) stopped two saves in goal tonight.
"Tonight was disappointing," said head coach Jonathan Meade. "We will regroup and look to correct things come Sunday."
The Panthers will face off against Findlay on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 1 p.m.
