Box Score COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's women's basketball team fell 83-46 to No. 1 Ashland Thursday in GLIAC play from Alumni Hall.
The Panthers shot 27.6 percent from the field for the game, while the Eagles hit at a 56.7 percent clip.
Junior forward Katelyn Stuckey (Millersburg, Ohio) led ODU with 11 points and seven rebounds, freshman guard Rachael Torey (Sterling Heights, Mich.) added 10 points and three steals, and sophomore guard Kacee Hockenberry (Haviland, Ohio) finished with nine points.
Torey drilled a three-pointer to keep the Panthers (4-12, 1-12 GLIAC) in the game early at 11-7, but the Eagles (20-0, 13-0) scored the next 17 points and would take a 42-23 lead at the half. ODU would draw no closer for the rest of the game.
Ohio Dominican returns to action on Saturday as the Panthers play host to Lake Erie at 3 p.m. in Alumni Hall.
