COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio Dominican women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss to the visiting Saginaw Valley Cardinals on Sunday afternoon at Panther Field.

With the loss, the Panthers now move to 4-4-2 overall and 1-3-2 in the conference while the Cardinals improve to a 4-1-4 record and 3-0-3 in the GLIAC.

After a scoreless first half, the Cardinals put a score of the board after Annie Aubrey received a cross from Kali Berry from the right side and chipped it in past freshman goalie Laura Clark (Lapeer, Mich.).

The Cardinals outshot the Panthers 9-2 and held a 6-0 shots on goal.

Clark grabbed five saves in goal.

The Panthers will travel to Ashland on Wednesday, Oct. 3 for a 7:00 pm conference match.
