Box Score TIFFIN, Ohio – Looking to bounce back from their 2-0 loss at Grand Valley, Ohio Dominican's women's soccer team battled the Tiffin Dragons to a 0-0 draw in double overtime Friday evening at Paradiso Field.
With their first tie of the year, the Panthers are now 4-2-1 overall and 1-1-1 in the GLIAC while the Dragons moved to 2-2-2 and 0-0-2 in conference play.
In the first half, the Dragons managed to slightly edge the Panthers on shots, outshooting ODU 8-7. Following the break, both teams were balanced on shots at seven a piece. The Panthers had the advantage in the first overtime, outshooting the Dragons 6-1.
ODU finished the game with a 21-18 advantage on shots while both teams finished balanced on shots on goal and saves with eight.
Sophomore goalie Laura Clark (Lapeer, Mich.) notched eight saves in goal for the Panthers.
The Panthers complete their road tour Sunday, Sep. 23 for a 1:00 p.m. match up against Findlay.
