The Ohio Dominican women's tennis team struggled to find consistency on Friday afternoon, dropping a 7-2 decision to GLIAC for Ferris State University.
ODU could only gain one doubles point to start the match. Earning the lone doubles point was Aline Mariano (Jr./Sao Paulo, Brazil) and Sofia Espana-Perez (So./Mexico City, Mexico), 8-1.
In singles action, needing 4-of-6 courts, the Panthers could not gain any ground, dropping 5-of-6 courts. Earning the singles and doubles sweep, Espana-Perez dominated on court one, winning 6-1, 6-3.
Ohio Dominican will return to action tomorrow as they welcome GLIAC opponent Grand Valley State University. The match is set to begin at 10 a.m.
