Slow Start Leads to Lop Sided Loss at Northwood

The Ohio Dominican women's tennis team struggled from the outset on Saturday afternoon, dropping a 9-0 decision to Northwood in Midland, Michigan.

Northwood jumped out to early leads in all three doubles courts, taking all courts in decisive fashion. The Panthers struggled to put anything together, dropping all doubles points for the first time this season.

In singles play, ODU dropped all six courts, missing out on three opportunities on three courts. Regina Camberos (Jr./San Luis Potosi, Mexico), Gabriela Bowe (Fr./Freeport, Bahamas), and Ana Pico (So./A Corona, Spain) each dropped 3-set matches to turn in the most competitive matches of the day.

The Panthers will look to rebound tomorrow as they take on GLIAC foe Saginaw Valley State at 10 a.m. at the Midland Community Tennis Center.
