COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio Dominican women's tennis team claimed the programs 100^th overall victory in eight seasons of competition and their 6^th consecutive win on Monday afternoon, defeating American Mideast rival Cedarville University at The Racquet Club in Columbus, Ohio. The Panthers remained unbeaten in conference play with the convincing 9-0 win.

ODU found a way to take 3-of-3 doubles matches to begin play. Katie Evans (Hilliard, OH) and Kate Rodgers (Milford, OH) held on at court one, winning 9-8 (4). On court two, Emily Sampsel (Marysville, OH) and Mari Monaco (Port Clinton, OH) responded with a solid 8-2 decision; while Amanda Hollenbaugh (Reynoldsburg, OH) and Ruchika Alahakoon (Colombo, Sri Lanka) earned a convincing 8-3 win on court three.

In singles play, the Panthers continued their solid play, winning 6-of-6 courts, to earn their fifth conference win of the season. Sampsel, Evans and Rodgers each secured wins at the #1, #2 and #3 spots, 4-6, 6-3, 10-0, 6-1, 6-2, and 6-0, 6-0. Alahakoon, Hollenbaugh and Katie Strancar (Canton, OH) also earned singles points at #4, #5 and #6 singles, 6-3, 7-5, 6-1, 6-0, and 6-3, 6-3, respectively.

The Panthers, 10-6 (5-0), will return to action on Thursday, April 23^rd when they return to Panther Courts to play Carlow University in the final home match of the season. The match is set to begin at 2 p.m.
