Ohio Dominican University

Rachael Bailes will enter her second season as assistant coach for Ohio Dominican in 2022.

In the 2021 season, Bailes helped lead ODU to an overall record of 17-14 and a conference record of 9-7. The panthers made it to the G-MAC tournament semifinals.

In 2019, she became the head coach of Ohio Christian University, where she led the Trailblazers for two seasons. She got her first collegiate coaching opportunity at Walsh University from 2015-2019. There she helped lead the Cavaliers to East Division Conference Champions.

Bailes also has coaching experience at the high school level, where she coached varsity volleyball for eight years. She also has club coaching experience, most recently at Mintonette Sports Volleyball Club. 

Prior to coaching, Bailes played collegiately at the University of Charleston and Baldwin Wallace University.

Bailes studied Organizational Psychology, Leadership, and Public Relations at University of Akron and Walsh University.
