Columbus, Ohio - The Ohio Dominican women's soccer team took their first away trip of the year up to Detroit, Michigan where competed against Wayne State on Friday, September 4th. The Panthers lost to the Warriors 0-4.
The Panthers had an offensively quiet first half, while the Warriors had 13 shots. In total, Wayne State out shot Ohio Dominican 26-3, 12 of the Warriors shots were on goal. Wayne State had goals scored by Ellie Whalen, Jenna Moeller, Sienna Mroue, and another by Jenna Moeller. Goalkeeper Ashley Fancher had eight saves. Kerinne Mueller and Kiera Archer had the two shots on goal for the Panthers. Jazmin Diaz-Don also took a shot for Ohio Dominican.
The Panthers look to bounce back and will remain on the road as they head to Grand Rapids, Michigan to face Davenport in another out of conference match up on Sunday, September 6th.Â
