COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio Dominican Panthers (13-2, 6-0 G-MAC) volleyball team battled two G-MAC foes in conference action this weekend. The Panthers traveled to northwest Ohio to play the Tiffin Dragons (0-12, 0-3 G-MAC) on Friday (Sept. 25) before coming back home to host the Cedarville Yellow Jackets (6-7, 4-2 G-MAC) in a 2025 G-MAC Tournament rematch.
The Panthers stayed perfect in conference action with a pair of four set wins and retained their 17
th straight home win.
Friday - W, 3-1 at Tiffin
- Set 1: ODU 25-17
- Tiffin led 5-3 in the early going before ODU went on an 8-0 run, taking an 11-5 lead. Tiffin trimmed the lead to 11-8 with three straight points but ODU pulled away, leading by as many as eight (22-14). They closed the set with an ace by Tess Hayes, winning 25-17.
- Set 2: ODU 26-24
- The second set featured 12 ties and three lead changes. Tiffin started the set with a 6-3 lead. ODU scored four times in a row as they took a 7-6 lead. The set was tied five times before Tiffin got back in front 13-10 with a Panther timeout. The Dragons led by five three times (17-12, 18-13, 19-14). Trailing 19-14, the Panthers outscored Tiffin 12-5 with five ties for the set to end 26-24.
- Set 3: TU 25-21
- ODU scored four of the first five points with two aces from Hayes. The Panthers led 8-4 but Tiffin flipped the script with a 14-5 run to lead 18-13 as ODU took timeout. The Panthers answered with a 7-2 run, tying the set at 20 following an ace from Lizzy Larkins. Tiffin took the lead 22-21 and won 25-21.
- Set 4: ODU 25-15
- Tiffin led 4-2 before an ODU spurt of 5-0 to lead 7-4. The Dragons got within one at 7-6 and 8-7 but the Panthers cruised to a 25-15 win, sealing the road victory.

Saturday - W, 3-1 vs. Cedarville
- Set 1: ODU 25-22
- Each team had a three-point swing early as ODU scored three straight before Cedarville answered with three in a row. The set was tied five times until 10-10. ODU scored five straight and 11 of the next 13 points, leading 21-12 as Cedarville called timeout twice. Cedarville went on a 10-3 run, cutting the lead to 24-22 but a Logan Rubel kill capped the set 25-22.
- Set 2: CU 25-21
- There were seven ties in the first 16 points as the set was closely contested at 8-8. Cedarville got to a four-point lead twice (16-12 & 17-13). An ODU 6-2 run got the Panthers back in front 19-18. Cedarville closed with a flurry, winning 25-21 and knotting the match at one set each.
- Set 3: ODU 29-27
- After two early ties, the Yellow Jackets led all the way through the set until late in the set by at least three points. Cedarville led 22-20 but back-to-back kills tied the set at 22. Cedarville called timeout and got the next two points for a 24-22 lead. A few errors tied the set three times into extra points. Cedarville was leading 27-26 but two kills by Madelyn Demler put ODU ahead and Chloe Gels capped the set 29-27.
- Set 4: ODU 25-17
- With a 1-1 tie, ODU scored four straight points for a Cedarville timeout. Cedarville trailed the rest of the way as ODU won 25-17.
