Columbus, Ohio - The Ohio Dominican Panthers had an even match with the Panthers of Kentucky Wesleyan in a 2-2 game.
Ohio Dominican traveled down to Kentucky to face Kentucky Wesleyan. The Kentucky Panthers struck first with a goal from Haylie Panter in the 24th minute. Freshman Emma French was quick to respond with a goal in the 28th minute, assisted by Ali Mathis. With a goal a piece in the first half, both Panthers head into a second half on an even playing field. In the 73rd minute of the match, Emma French scored again for Ohio Dominican taking the lead 2-1. French's goal was assisted by Jazmin Diaz-Don. The Kentucky Panthers were not done yet as another goal by Haylie Panter came in the 78th minute. The final score ended in a 2-2 tie.
Ohio Dominican had eight shots, four on goal, while Kentucky Wesleyan had 14 shots, seven on goal. Goalkeeper Ashley Fancher had four saves.
