CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Three members of the Ohio Dominican women's golf team were placed on the 2025-26 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar List on Tuesday (August 4).
Sophomore Marissa Cline and freshmen Ava Kemp and Alyssa Rishty were awarded honors for their academics this past school year. Cline now has earned the honor in back-to-back years and Kemp and Rishty are the 10th and 11th Panthers to earn this award as a freshman.
A total of 1,610 women's collegiate golfers from 403 programs were named to the WGCA All-American Scholar list for this past school year. The Great Midwest Athletic Conference had 30 awards among eight different programs.
The criteria for the selection of the All-American Scholar Team states a student-athlete must have a minimum of a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average and have played in 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds.
Since 2010-11, the Panthers program has seen 41 WGCA All-American Scholars named.
