COLUMBUS, Ohio - In the first event of the 2026-27 season, the women's golf team at Ohio Dominican University played host to their annual Fall tournament - Champions of Women's Golf this weekend. After severe weather canceled Saturday's (Sept. 12) round, the event concluded with a single round on Sunday (Sept. 13) at Champions Golf Course.
Ohio Dominican finished third as a team in the standings of ten teams with a score of 320 (+40). The Panthers were second in the rankings with five birdies as a unit and were fifth in pars with 42 pars.
- Marissa Cline finished in first place, scoring a 2-over 72 as she was the medalist.
- She led all players with four birdies and added eight pars.
- Alana Miller was second on the team with an 81 (+11) in the event, finishing tied for 18th place.
- Miller was tied for the team lead with nine birdies.
- Alyssa Rishty scored an 83 (+13), tying for 26th place.
- Rishty notched six pars in his round.
- Ava Kemp was one stroke behind Rishty in a 32nd place tie, shooting 84 (+14) in her round.
- Kemp was tied for the team lead with nine birdies alongside Miller.
- Cindy Moreki and Mia Steigerwald were tied for 36th place with an 85 (+15).
- Moreki tallied a birdie, tying for seventh place.
- Both of them each totaled six pars.
- Reagan Kelly rounded out the Panther lineup with a score of 92 (+22) in 54th place, scoring four pars.
The Panthers will be in action next week at the Wayne State Warrior Invitational in Michigan.
