CHATTANOOGA, TN - In their final game in Chattanooga, the Ohio Dominican softball team dropped a cold one to host Lee University, falling 10–2 in five innings.
Player Highlights
Left fielder Erica Massey led the Panthers offensively, going 2-for-3 at the plate. Addie Triplett, Olivia Congleton, and Avery Mueller each recorded a hit, with Congleton and Mueller both collecting doubles. Mueller and Sophia Patena drove in Ohio Dominican's two runs.
In the circle, Lilly Irvine made her first start, tossing 2.2 innings and allowing five hits and five runs. Alyvia Lawrentz came on in relief, surrendering three hits and five runs in 0.2 innings. Emma Grau closed the game with 1.2 scoreless innings, allowing no hits.
Inning Breakdown
Lee jumped out to an early lead, scoring four runs in the opening inning, highlighted by two home runs. The Flames added six more runs across the third and fourth innings. Ohio Dominican got on the board in the fourth when Triplett scored on a fielder's choice by Patena, who later came around to score from first on a double by Mueller.

Ohio Dominican now turns its focus to its upcoming Illinois trip in two weeks, where the Panthers will face Davenport and Illinois–Springfield in two games each on February 19 and 20.
