GRANVILLE, Ohio  – The Ohio Dominican Panthers indoor track and field team split up this weekend and took their talents to two different meets in the central Ohio area. Part of the team competed at the Ashland Jud Logan Light Giver Open at the Niss Athletic Center while the rest of the Panthers traveled to Granville for the Bob Shannon Invitational at the Mitchell Center. 

At Denison, the Panthers finished tenth and 11th, respectively between the women's and men's teams. The women has 18 points scored and the men tallied 19 points.

1st Place Finish

• Peyton Proffitt: 3.55 meter mark in the pole vault (10th all-time)

2nd Place Finish

• Merrick Shorter: 8:31.94 time in the 3000 meters (School Record and PR)

Other Finishes

• Eayuel Gebrtsadik: 11th in the mile at 4:17.33 (3rd fastest all-time); 1:59.67 for the 800 meters in 37th place overall
• Anna Blackstone: 20:48.98 in the 5000 meters for 33rd place (PR)
• Aileen Castillo: 6:08.51 time in the mile in 51st place
• Alyza Camp: 56th in the mile with a 6:39.67 time

• Shyla Pemberton: 8.18 second PR in the 60 meter final after being 7th fastest in the prelims (8.21 seconds)

• Ismael Obas: 23.46 seconds in the 200 meters
