GAME BREAKDOWN
Overall, the Panthers shot 33.8% from the field and 32.1% from three-point range. They were perfect at the free-throw line, largely thanks to Shackleford. ODU capitalized on Adrian's turnovers to score 20 points, while adding 26 points in the paint, 17 fast-break points, and 11 bench points.

In the first period, ODU shot 37.5% from both the field and beyond the arc. Despite a slight dip in shooting percentage later, the Panthers outscored Adrian 18-12 in the opening frame. In the second quarter, ODU's defense held Adrian to just 7 points while scoring 15 of their own. While ODU's field goal percentage remained at 37.5%, their three-point shooting increased to 60%, helping them take a 33-19 lead at halftime.

In the third quarter, ODU's shooting percentage dipped to 21.1%, yet they still managed to outscore Adrian. In the final frame, Adrian posted 16 points to ODU's 14, but the Panthers' strong first-half performance secured the 60-46 win.
