Grace Zinchuk and
Jenna Peters were recognized for their efforts, earning spots on the All-Tournament Team.
Zinchuk, a native of Illinois, dominated at the net across all three matches. She led the team in blocks, recording 2 solo blocks and 12 block assists. Offensively, the senior middle hitter tallied 46 points for ODU, notching 38 kills and averaging 3.17 kills per set. She posted an impressive .474 hitting percentage over 12 sets played.
Peters, from Vermilion, Ohio, also had a standout weekend. In addition to helping ODU extend its winning streak to nine straight matches, she reached a personal milestone — recording her 1,000th career kill in Friday's match against Michigan Tech.
Peters finished the weekend with 45.5 points, totaling 41 kills and averaging 3.42 kills per set with a .226 hitting percentage. Defensively, she added 33 digs (2.75 per set), along with 3 solo blocks and 3 block assists.
With momentum on their side, the Panthers now shift their focus to a key matchup against league powerhouse Cedarville. The match is set for Wednesday at 7 PM in Springfield.
