COLUMBUS, Ohio – On Thursday evening, the Ohio Dominican's women's soccer team traveled to UIndy for the season opener. The Panthers fell to the Greyhounds, 2-1. 

The Black and Gold snagged the first goal of the night at the 29th minute by Meghan Coakley, assisted by Natalie Burwinkel. Greyhounds' Mia Winters matched with a goal only 21 seconds after Coakley's at the 29th minute, tying the game 1-1.  

In the second half, the Greyhounds took the lead with a goal by Clare Simmonds at the 60th minute. UIndy finished the game with a total of 15 shots, having four on goal.  

The Panthers finished the game with 12 total shots, having nine on goal. Riley Arnold led the Black and Gold with three shots, two on goal.
