COLUMBUS, Ohio – On Thursday evening, the Ohio Dominican men's soccer team hosted West Liberty for the season opener. The Panthers trailed for most of the game but Felipe Corral came in clutch with a goal at the 88th minute to finish with a 1-1 draw.
Zachary Forehand from West Liberty got it started in the first half with a goal at the 19th minute. In a defensive frenzy, West Liberty conducted only seven total shots, with two on goal.
In the second half, the Black and Gold didn't let up their offensive attacks. The Panthers managed a total of 17 shots with 10 of them on goal. Corral recorded his first goal as a Panther at the 88th minute and led the Panthers with five total shots and 2 shots on goal.
