COLUMBUS, Ohio - Two seniors from the Ohio Dominican Panthers football team were awarded with All-Super Region 1 honors by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) this week as announced on Thursday (Dec. 5). 

Daishaun Hill and Michael Powers were voted Second Team All-Region after earning First Team All-Conference honors from the G-MAC. The D2CCA All-Super Region Teams are nominated and voted on by the sports information directors of the region. Super Region 1 features the G-MAC, PSAC, MEC and NE-10 conferences. 

Hill ranked third on the team with 55 tackles made for the season. He recovered one fumble and picked off five passes this season. The defensive back was tied for the most interceptions in the league. His five interceptions was tied for the second most in a single season for the Panthers. 

Powers led the Panthers with 90 tackles for the season, slotting him 2nd in the conference for tackles. He added three tackles for loss and intercepted two passes. His 51 solo tackles ranked him 9th in a single season for the Panthers while having three games of ten tackles or more this season.
