Box Score FINDLAY, Ohio - The Ohio Dominican volleyball team traveled to Findlay last night for a Friday night matchup. The Panthers were defeated by the Oilers after four sets, 3-1.
Senior
Lauren Lucas led the Black and Gold offensively with 16 kills, one assist and one ace.
Grace Zinchuk led at the net for ODU with five blocks,
Bailey Christiansen behind her with four. Defensively,
Lauren Dinunzi led the Panthers with 21 digs. Setter
Saige Avery secured herself 33 assists and eight digs for the night.
Ohio Dominican recorded a total of 43 kills and 55 digs as a team.
How It Happened
- Set one started with the Oilers taking the lead majority of the time, winning the final points, 25-19.
- The Panthers responded to Oilers in set two, winning a close one, 25-23.
- In the third set, Findlay found their groove offensively at the net with 13 kills, winning 25-17.
- The last set ended with the Oilers finalizing the game, 25-19.
