COLUMBUS, Ohio – On Saturday afternoon, the Ohio Dominican women's basketball team faced off against the Dragons of Tiffin for the second time this season. The Black and Gold gritted it out for 40 minutes, snagging a 54-45 G-MAC win over the Green and Gold.

- For the first time this season and the fourth time in her career, Gabby Stare (Newark, Ohio) secured a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Stare went 7-11 form the field, dishing out three assists, a block, and a steal.
- Following her was La'Sonja Hill (Cincinnati, Ohio) with 13 points. The point guard went a perfect 6-6 from the charity stripe. She handed out four assists and nabbed four steals.
- The last player to net double figures was Brynn Mullet (Berlin, Ohio) with 12 points. Mullet shot 62.5 percent from the floor. She added two steals and four boards.
- The Black and Gold shot 40.4 percent from the field and 91.7 percent from the free throw line.
How It Happened
- Tiffin scored the opening bucket and then Mullet scored five straight points for the Panthers. TU ended on a 6-2 run to bring it to 11-8 at the end of the first. Mullet accounted for seven of the Panthers 11 points.
- ODU began the second period with seven unanswered points to push their lead to 18-8. TU continued to fight, ending on a 16-6 scoring run to cut their deficit to one, bring it to 27-26 at the intermission.
- Once again, Mullet scored the first five points for the Black and Gold. From there, the two traded buckets with Stare netting seven of ODU's 14 points. The Panthers enter the final period with a 41-33 lead.
- To start the fourth period, Stare tabbed the first five points before the two went back-and-forth. In the final five minutes, the Black and Gold went 4-4 from the line, helping them secure a 54-45 win over Tiffin.
