Box Score COLUMBUS, Ohio – On Thursday afternoon, the Ohio Dominican women's basketball team histing fellow Great Midwest Athletic Conference opponent, Lake Erie College. The Panthers banded together to grab a 62-45 team win.

- Leading the way for the Black and Gold was La'Sonja Hill (Cincinnati, Ohio) with 17 points. The freshman went 3-6 from behind the arc. She grabbed four rebounds, two assists, and a team high of four steals.
- Following her was fellow freshman Jenna Shackleford (Newark, Ohio). The forward netted 15 points, going a perfect 5-5 from the free throw line. Shackleford secured four rebounds and three steals on the night.
- Brynn Mullet (Berlin, Ohio) and Macy Chapman (Hilliard, Ohio) each snagged eight points on the night. Mullet handed out a team high of four assists while Chapman recorded three rebounds. Gabby Stare (Newark, Ohio) grabbed a team high of six rebounds.
How It Happened
- The Storm secured the jump ball and scored the first three points before Shackleford netted a pair of free throws. Back-to-back layups from the Black and Gold pushed them in front. The two traded buckets the rest of the period with ODU ending on a 7-0 scoring run, including four points from Chapman, to be ahead 18-12 heading into the second.
- Lake Erie opened the second period with a seven-point swing of their own to cut their deficit to one. The Panthers grew their lead to as many as nine, but the Storm cut it to five at the intermission, making it 29-24.
- LEC tried to keep it close in the beginning of the third quarter, but ODU went on an 11-2 scoring run over the course of five minutes to give them a 13-point lead heading into the final 10 minutes of play.
- ODU continued to dominate in the fourth quarter, securing buckets from Nia Johnson (Holland, Ohio) and Sarah Ochs (Beavercreek, Ohio). The Black and Gold won the game 62-45 for their second conference win of the season.
