TIFFIN, Ohio - In their second straight Friday (Sept. 8) night meet, the Ohio Dominican Panthers cross country team competed at the Tiffelberg Open, held at Hedges Boyer Park. 

Both the men's and women's teams ended the meet in third place out of six and nine teams, respectively. 

MEN
Ethan Sinning (Tipp City, Ohio) was the best finisher for the Panthers in 15th place, as he ran the 7th fastest 8K time in program history (26:35.5). Jacob Krous (Galena, Ohio), Eayuel Gebrtsadik (Columbus, Ohio) and Aidan Shannon (Columbus, Ohio) finished in a consecutive order from 17th to 19th. Krous ended with a PR of 26:52.4 with Gebrtsadik crossing the line two seconds behind. Shannon was the first runner to finish past 27 minutes with a 27:02.7. Rogan Hanson (Craig, Alaska) rounded out the Panthers with a 28:09.7 time in 33rd place. 

WOMEN
Kylee Henry (Circleville, Ohio) got her best time of the season as the best Panther runner. Henry was eighth overall at 20:12.5 as a PR. Jeralyn Strawn (Lancaster, Ohio) finished second for the Panthers in 20th place at 21:20.0. Anna Blackstone (Lexington, Ohio) ended the race three spots behind at 21:29.6. Jaclyn Strawn (Lancaster, Ohio) had the fourth fastest time in the Panther lineup in 25th place in a time of 21:45.6. Gabby Reed (Pickerington, Ohio) stopped the clock at 21:54.9 for 27th place. Freshmen Morgan MacDonald (Oregon, Ohio), Alyza Camp (Waynesville, Ohio) and Tyra McClain (Van Wert, Ohio) all completed the 5K course with respective times of 22:21.3, 23:03.3 and 23:26.0. 

The Panthers will compete at the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Challenge next Friday (Sept. 15) at Cedarville.
