COLUMBUS, Ohio – This week, the Ohio Dominican men's soccer team continues their road schedule with two trips away from home. The Panthers with travel to Ashland University on Wednesday night and to Northwood on Saturday afternoon.
The Black and Gold are currently 1-3-3 overall and hold a 1-1-3 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. ODU picked up their first conference win with a 1-0 victory over Thomas More on Wednesday. They also snagged their first loss in their first road match on Saturday at Cedarville, losing 1-0.

Between the posts, senior
Cory Pulles (Pickerington, Ohio) had three saves in his shutout against TMU on Wednesday, bring him to 24 for the season, ranking third in the conference. In Saturday's contest, sophomore
Gannon Graf (North Olmsted, Ohio) registered four saves, allowing only one goal.
About Ashland
The Eagles are 1-5-2 overall and 1-1-2 in conference play this fall. AU most recently lost at Trevecca, 2-1, on Thursday and drew at Ky. Wesleyan, 2-2, on Saturday.
Oliver Whaley posts the most assists and second most goals among G-MAC athletes with four assists and five goals. Three different players have seen time between the posts with freshman Zach Harrison appearing in five games, collecting seven saves and posting a 2.31 GAA. Senior Zander Throckmorton, has played in three games, collecting 11 saves and a 1.50 GAA.
Ashland is 6-5-1 against Ohio Dominican, dating back to the 2010 season. The Eagles defeated the Panthers in the last matchup, but ODU took the two before that in 2021 and 2018.
About Northwood
The Timberwolves post a 1-5-2 record while going 0-3-1 in the G-MAC. Last week, NU made their southern swing, bringing home two losses including a 1-0 loss at Ky. Wesleyan and a 3-1 loss at Trevecca.
Leading the way for the team and the conference is Oliver Jarvis with six goals. Jarvis is a perfect 2-2 in penalty kicks and has an assist. Goalkeeper Robert Gjelaj is the front runner in the G-MAC with 57 saves in his senior year. Gjelaj averages 7.13 saves per game and posts a 2.13 GAA.
The Timberwolves are 9-5-2 against the Panthers within ODU's Division II Era. NU has won seven of the last eight games, with a 2-2 draw coming in the first meeting a season ago. Northwood will host Tiffin on Wednesday before welcoming Ohio Dominican on Saturday.
