COLUMBUS, Ohio – For the second time this week, the Ohio Dominican volleyball team played on their home court. The Black and Gold hosted Tiffin University and fell to the Dragons, 3-0.

- For the seventh time this season, Lauren Lucas (Grove City, Ohio) recorded double figure kills with 12. The junior added nine digs, one shy of collecting another double-double. Behind her was Ashley Aselage (Tipp City, Ohio) with nine kills.
- Senior Kelsey Shoup (Dalton, Ohio) netted her ninth consecutive double figure dig game with 21 tonight. Fellow senior Alexis Keipert (Burlington, Ky.) notched 12 digs.
- Saige Avery (Yorkville, Ill.) snagged her fifth double-double of the season with 16 assists and 14 digs. Sophomore Gabrielle Kirker (Tallmadge, Ohio) led with 22 assists and two service aces.
How It Happened
- In the first set, the two went back-and-forth until the Dragons created some space with a five-point run, making it 12-7. The Panthers brought within two, 15-13, but took the lead, 22-17, after a nine-point swing of their own. Tiffin answered by winning eight of the last nine points to win the set, 26-24.
- The second set went point-for-point, equalizing it at 7-all. TU once again broke away, growing their lead over ODU to 17-12. Tiffin remained ahead the rest of the set, taking it 25-18 to go up two sets to none.
- With all the momentum, the Green and Gold ran out to an early 6-1 lead in the third set. Ohio Dominican battled back, going on a five-point run to take a 13-12 lead. With the game on the line, the two rallied and traded points with no one leading more than two points. With the set in extra points, tiffin ended up on top with a three-point run, winning it 28-26.
