COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio Dominican women's soccer team returned to the pitch today for their second home contest during opening weekend. The Panthers tied with the Greyhounds of Indianapolis, 1-1.

Ryanne Buck (Reynoldsburg, Ohio) tried to get things started early with a shot in the 4
th minute, resulting in a save for the Hounds keeper.
Devin Schoenberger (Redondo Beach, Calif.) followed with a shot of her own but missed it high.

UIndy went on the offensive, registering three consecutive shots giving ODU keeper,
Jadelyn McNerney (Springboro, Ohio) two saves along with a team save. McNerney picked up two more saves before the intermission, leaving the match scoreless.

To open the second half, the Greyhounds fired off back-to-back shots, missing the mark on both. The Panthers responded with a goal from
Bailey Sedlak (Bellbrook, Ohio) off a double assist from
Alex Garver (Springboro, Ohio) and
Atenas Ramirez (Columbus, Ohio).

In the 61
st minute, UIndy fired off their third shot of the half, giving ODU goalie
Kaitlin Grady (Twinsburg, Ohio) her first save of the day. In the 66
th minute, Sedlak tried to extend their lead, but the Hounds keeper remained strong and collected a save.

The Greyhounds tied it up, 1-all, in the 71
st minute. The Black and Gold tried to retake the lead in the final minutes with shots from
Carmen Morris (Lancaster, Ohio) and Garver but couldn't connect. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.
