COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio Dominican women's basketball team continues their road swing as the take on conference foe, Tiffin University, on Saturday afternoon.

The Panthers enter the weekend with a 2-4 overall record and a 0-2 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. A week ago, the Black and Gold fell at Cedarville, 85-70, and at Hillsdale, 88-52.
For the first time in two years, five different players netted double figures on Thursday night. Leading the way was
Gabby Stare (Newark, Ohio) with 15 points. The senior added 14 points on Saturday to bring her season average to 17.3 points per game, ranking second in the conference.
A trio of freshman joined Stare in double-digits against the Yellow Jackets.
Jenna Shackleford (Newark, Ohio) grabbed 12 points. Following her was
Nelia Guice (Westerville, Ohio) with 11 points and
La'Sonja Hill (Cincinnati, Ohio) with 10. Shackleford and Guice lead the team on the rebounding end, grabbing 4.6 and 4.0 boards per game. Hill dishes out an average of 3.0 assists per game.
Senior
Camryn Pickerill (Seaman, Ohio) recorded 11 points on Thursday evening. Pickerill is shooting 45.5 percent from behind the arc on the season thus far. On Saturday, freshman
Jazmyn Wheeler (Winfield, W. Va.) led the way with 15 points off the bench. Wheeler averages 11.6 minutes a game while shooting 52.0 percent from the floor.
As a team, the Black and Gold are shooting 43.6 percent from the field, ranking fourth in the G-MAC. They are shooting 32.5 percent from behind the arc, ranking sixth among the conference. ODU averages 60.7 points per game compared to their opponents 71.2 points.
About Tiffin
The Dragons most recently dropped a nonconference road match at Mercyhurst on Thursday afternoon, moving them to 1-6 on the year and 0-2 in the conference. Last week, Tiffin faced conference front runner, Ursuline College, falling 66-34, and then losing to the Cavaliers of Walsh, 63-52, two days later.
Seniors, Kirsten Williams and Savanah Richards, leads the way for the Green and Gold, averaging 10.2 and 10.0 points per game. Richards netted ten points against Walsh last week and at Mercyhurst this week.
Guards, Catara Dejarnette and Presley Feltner are back this season for the Dragons. Feltner leads the team with 6.2 rebounds per game and 2.2 assists per game. Dejarnette follows with 3.2 rebounds per game and 2.2 assists per game.
As a whole, the Dragons are shooting 35.8 percent from the field, ranking 12
th in the conference. They are 13
th in the G-MAC when it comes to three point field goal percentage, shooting 24.9 percent. They average 53.7 points per game while giving up 66.7 points per game.
Dating back to the Division II Era, the Black and Gold hold the lead within the series, 13-11. When in the Gillmor Student Center, TU is 7-5 against ODU and have won the last three matchups.
