COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio Dominican men's soccer team returns to the pitch this Saturday after a week away. The Panthers play host to the Dragons of Tiffin University on Saturday evening for Homecoming.
The Black and Gold are 1-5-3 overall and 1-3-3 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, sitting eighth in the standings. The team is coming off a 0-2 week with a 4-0 loss at Ashland and a 2-0 loss at Northwood.
About Ohio Dominican
Junior Amadou Mamadou (Columbus, Ohio) leads the way for the Panthers with 23 total shots and 11 shots on goal. Mamadou is the only player to have two goals. Following him is sophomore Jack Jenkins (Canal Winchester, Ohio) with 17 shots. Jenkins has a goal and two assists on the season.
Making his Panther debut last week was Kevin Montes (Miami, Fla.). Montes snagged eight saves, allowing four goals, and recording a 2.61 GAA in his two appearances.
About Tiffin
The Dragons are 6-1-2 overall and 5-0-2 in the conference, good enough for first place in the standings. Tiffin most recently drew with Walsh University, 1-1, on Wednesday evening, remaining undefeated in the conference.
Both Luke Alexander-Frost and Zach Garcia lead the team with three goals each. Alexander-Frost adds an assist while Garcia has two assists. Senior Malvin Gblah posts a team high 19 total shots and 12 shots on goal. Freshman keeper Felix Graf had the fourth best GAA in the conference at 1.17. Graf has 16 saves and two shutouts.
The Dragons hold a 12-6-4 mark over the Panthers, dating back to the 2010 season. The Black and Gold are on a two game losing streak as Tiffin completed the sweep in the 2022 season.

Ohio Dominican will kick off at 5:30 PM on Saturday evening, marking the second game of the day for Panther Nation on Homecoming weekend.
