TIFFIN, Ohio – On Saturday afternoon, the Ohio Dominican volleyball team faced off against Tiffin. The Panthers swept the Dragons 3-0.

• Sophomore Lauren Lucas (Grove City, Ohio) led the way with 12 kills. Kamryn Maxwell (Norwalk, Ohio) had 10.
• Libero Alexis Keipert (Burlington, Ky.) collected 16 of the team's 50 digs. Maxwell and Kelsey Shoup (Dalton, Ohio) both added 7.
• The Panthers registered 41 assists as a team. Saige Avery (Yorkville, Ill.) accounted for 19 and Gabrielle Kirker (Tallmadge, Ohio) had 13.

How It Happened

• The Panthers fell behind early in the first set 6-3.
• With consecutive kills from Maxwell, the Black and Gold tied it up, 10-all.
• ODU went on a six-to-one run to extend their lead 16-12.
• Ohio Dominican took set one 25-17 after winning five of the last six points.
• Olivia Kirksey (Reynoldsburg, Ohio) and Ashley Aselage (Tipp City, Ohio) opened set two with multiple kills, giving the Panthers the upper hand 6-3.
• ODU went on a nine-to-one run to grow their lead over the Dragons 15-5.
• Tiffin responded with their own run, cutting their deficit 19-14.
• The Black and Gold went on to finish set two with a kill from Lucas, winning it 25-17.
• Kirker helped the Panthers jump to a 3-0 lead in set three after collecting back-to-back service aces.
• Ohio Dominican went on an eight-to-two run to go-up 13-6.
• With kills from Kirksey and Grace Zinchuk (Schaumburg, Ill.), and a service ace from Jenna Peters (Vermilion, Ohio), the Black and Gold lead grew to 21-12.
• The Dragons retaliated with a four-point run late but ODU responded with their own to win the set 25-16. The Panthers swept Tiffin 3-0.
