Box Score COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Dominican wrapped up their opening weekend at home on Saturday afternoon where they faced off against fourth ranked University of Indianapolis.
The Panthers offense came out strong with forward Shingai Nindi (Shanghai, China) registering the first shot of the match in the 2nd minute. Seth Ward of UIndy answered with a goal of his own at the 16th minute.
The Greyhounds registered back-to-back goals in the 25th and 27th minutes from forward Michael Tselios.
Junior goalkeeper Cory Pulles (Pickerington, Ohio) collected two saves in the first half off of shots from two different UIndy attackers. However, in the 42nd, the Greyhounds answered with a score from Owen Atkison who was assisted by Brandon Johnson.
Opening the second half, Nindi fired off his second shot of the match falling wide right. In the 59th minute, Khalif Hassan (Columbus, Ohio) and Jack Heyes (New Albany, Ohio) fired off back-to-back shots, forcing the UIndy goalkeeper to make his only save of the day.
The Greyhounds offense continued on their attack in the 76th minute when Owen Atkison tallied his second goal. Atkison tried for a hat trick in the 88th minute, but sophomore goalkeeper Ethan Kraynak (Worthington, Ohio) was there to collect his third save of the match.
The Black and Gold had no answer and fell to UIndy 5-0.

The Panthers will hit the road on Thursday, Sept. 8 when they travel to Painesville, Ohio for a 7 PM kickoff against fifteenth ranked Lake Erie.
