Box Score CEDARVILLE, Ohio – On Friday evening, the Ohio Dominican volleyball team traveled to Cedarville for a second showdown against the Yellow Jackets. The Panthers dropped the road match, 3-0.

- Libero Kelsey Shoup (Dalton, Ohio) collected another double-figure dig match with 13. Shoup added two service aces.
- The Black and Gold notched nine service aces in tonight's contest. Junior Alexis Keipert (Burlington, Ky.) led the way with four.
- At the net, Olivia Kirksey (Reynoldsburg, Ohio) registered 12 kills. Lauren Lucas (Grove City, Ohio), Grace Zinchuk (Schaumburg, Ill.), and Arica Thies (Fairfield, Ohio) all added seven kills to the match.
- Setters Saige Avery (Yorkville, Ill.) and Gabrielle Kirker (Tallmadge, Ohio) each grabbed 16 assists apiece.
How It Happened
- The Panthers fell behind early 7-3 in the first set.
- ODU responded with a five-point run, bringing their deficit to one, 13-12.
- A kill from Lucas tied the match at 18-all.
- The Yellow Jackets ended the first set on top 25-20 after a seven-to-two run.
- The Black and Gold opened the second set trailing 8-5.
- CU grew their lead 16-8 after a few Ohio Dominican errors.
- The Panthers brought it within three with a five-point swing of their own.
- Shoup added a service ace late, but Cedarville took the second set 25-19, leading 2-0.
- ODU jumped out to a 5-3 lead in the third set after a service ace from Zinchuk.
- The Yellow Jackets snagged the lead with a block, making it 11-7.
- The Black and Gold won eight of the next 11 points to go up by one, 18-17.
- Another service ace from Zinchuk tied the macth24-all.
- Cedarville grabbed the next two points to win the third set 26-24, taking the match 3-0.
