Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn – Three members of the Ohio Dominican men's soccer team tallied their first goal of the season in the Panthers 4-0 victory over Trevecca Nazarene University on Saturday afternoon.
Sophomore Khalif Hassan (Columbus, Ohio) tallied his second goal of the season in just the 13th minute of action. A foul in the box by Trevecca led to a red card being shown to defender Tadg McEvoy after a foul in the box. Hassan stepped up to the penalty spot and comfortably buried the strike to give the Black and Gold the 1-0 advantage.
Ten minutes later the visitors would be afforded another chance from the penalty area as another foul in the box by the Trojans yielded ODU another chance from the spot. This time it was Allbaugh who stepped up and buried the penalty kick for his first goal of the 2021 campaign as he doubled the lead to 2-0.
Four minutes later the Black and Gold would get a goal from the run of play as midfielder Carter Patchett (Dublin, Ohio) collected a pass from teammate Nuno Lopez (Foz, Spain) and buried it in the back of the net to expand the lead to 3-0 in the 28th minute.
The Black and Gold added another goal in the 62nd minute as defender Jaxson Szabo (Worthington, Ohio) broke through to swell the lead to 4-0 after being put in a great position by Allbaugh.
It was a calm day for goalkeeper Harry Castella (London, England, United Kingdom) as the backstop made just one save to preserve the 4-0 victory.
